The placement reflects the discipline behind Firstboard.io's approach: connecting companies at critical inflection points with technology leaders who bring both operating experience and boardroom acumen.

The process traces back to a January meeting in Davos, Switzerland, during the World Economic Forum, where Firstboard.io Founder and CEO Rita Scroggin and CXO Forum Leader Subha Tatavarti met Origina CEO & Founder, Tomás O'Leary aboard a train. What began as a conversation about Origina's growth trajectory and board ambitions became a formal search and, ultimately, this appointment.

Clayton McDonnell brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience across global technology and legal industries. She most recently served as President of the Corporates business segment at Thomson Reuters, leading customer and cultural transformation across the company's global legal, tax, risk, and compliance businesses. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at ServiceNow, Microsoft, IBM, and Cisco, and holds a background in corporate and securities law. She previously served on the boards of Zuora, Inc. (NYSE: ZUO) and Signal AI.
