Diane deCordova is an entrepreneur with 30+ years of digital media leadership experience including 3 of the world’s top pioneering digital media brands of their time: Google, Yahoo and Excite. She is an accomplished executive who has run business development, sales, finance and operations teams, working both in the US and abroad. Her broad strategic and deal-making knowledge, anchored in investment banking M&A work, includes a special focus on creating new business models within Internet-technology, media & entertainment, retail, and consumer products. Ms deCordova has a proven record of building brands, companies and revenues with digital media and B2B technology platforms. In 2023, she was named a Top Women in Media & Ad Tech Honoree by AdMonsters & AdExchanger. In 2018, She Runs It honored her industry leadership with a “Changing the Game” award for being a catalyst for innovation and digital transformation. Ms. deCordova developed the business model for publisher Next New Networks, the first to deliver advertiser supported, multi-channel branded digital video programming, positioning it for sale to Google. Then she led the creation of the Google BrandLab, an industry-leading workshop experience for global marketers. She helped innovate and grow both startup and public companies through 12 years in Silicon Valley at Yahoo!, Reflect.com (a P&G venture), Excite@Home and MNI Interactive (the original digital “MusicNet” service financed by Kleiner Perkins). Ms. deCordova has substantial international corporate and financial experience. She worked as an investment banker in Europe for Morgan Stanley International and then founded a mergers and acquisitions firm where she established a foothold in Spain and Portugal advising on EU investments. Ms. deCordova earned her Masters degree from the London School of Economics. A graduate of Princeton University, she was elected a trustee of the U-Store and served as Chair and President of Princeton’s global Alumni Association. In 2020, she became a Trustee of the Kent School where, as a student, she honed leadership skills as both the student government Senior Prefect and the editor of the school newspaper, The Kent News. She is now on the board's executive committee and serves as its Treasurer.
